Design Innovation Researcher and Software Evaluation Intern

What We Seek:

We are seeking a talented architecture or design student interested in interning with our startup. We envision a collaboration that delves into experimental design methodologies, testing FileMap to invent unique ways of enhancing our software's relevance in the creative design process and its adaptation to various design workflows. We plan to investigate design methodologies like AI-based image and geometry generation, incorporation of new tools and methodologies in 2D and 3D CAD design workflows, real-time visualization with Unreal Engine, and various types of audio-visual design and storytelling methods. Ultimately, our goal is to expand our understanding of new design methodologies, tools, and the potential role of FileMap in the creative design process.

Required Skills and Experience:

We seek an architecture or design student proficient in tools such as Rhino, 3DsMax, Sketchup, Zbrush, Octane Render, Unreal Engine, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Figma, ChatGPT, and Midjourney. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an avid interest and proficiency in research related to emerging digital tools, methodologies, and workflows in the digital design space. They should not only adapt quickly and experiment with any new tool or process but also maintain a comprehensive approach across all digital tools in all creative industries.

What You Will Contribute:

• Development of architecture/product design concepts and creation of alternative audio-visual materials in various formats.

• Design execution using FileMap as the primary tool throughout the entire process.

• Conducting comprehensive meta-research on design methods and workflows.

• Exploration of how FileMap can be utilized in different design fields and workflows.

• Identification and reporting of test results, bugs, and potential UX issues.

• Generation of innovative ideas on how FileMap can enhance various design and creative processes.
